I did have to install the PEAR:DB package and mod the php.ini as noted in section 5.6 of the admin guide. The open_basedir directive restricts what directories can be used for local includes. Life was good. Last edited by tstrike2000 on 2005-09-20 06:06, edited 1 time in total.

The System file for me was /share/pear so I had to include include_path=".:/share/pear" in php.ini I then restarted Apache and found the check_pear.php file wasn't searching the path I specified. Open the file with the browser from your web server, and also try it on command line. I ran config.pl and once I did that, it all worked. Is the file DB.php in your PHP path mentioned in your error description?
