By your advice, I've fixed my Canon LiDE 60 with Windows 7 with the same problem. Make sure the scanner is on, correctly setup and connected with no errors indicated. I will look at those additional drivers. I had this problem, and went nack to the Canon 4.9 Toolbox, and with your path set, - it worked. When I open the CanoScan toolbox, and try to scan, it says "unable to select TWAIN source." Adding the twain path fixed it. After a Windows update and some other installs, my scanner suddenly started presenting this error dialog. Mine was a Canon 500F, and the file was ;C:\Windows\twain_32\CNQL500 Note no spaces Thanks alot, this saved hours of heart ache. The existing path appears quite strange to me and is as follows: C:\Program Files\CommonFiles\ArcSoft\Bin;%SystemRoot%system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem ArcSoft is the photo software that I am working with.
